THE OFFICE HOT SPOT!
The balcony, the
washroom, the terrace and the canteen...some of the areas where people
generally cool their heels during office hours. Preferences may vary, but most
of the women employees choose a wash room over any other area. It’s not just a
place to relieve the bladder, but it has many more roles to play. No wonder,
women often call it a refreshing or convenience room.
It comes handy for the
last minute morning touch ups; they dab their cheeks, tug their dresses here
and there or rearrange the loose strands of hair for the first time of the day.
As the day proceed, its mirrors motivate them to stay calm and steady for many
more long hours.
Friday evenings
are always special for ladies and their wash room. They turn it into a
makeshift green room with myriad shades of lips, eyes and nail colours lying on
its table top. The room becomes misty with a dash of talcum powder, deodorant
and hair spray of all sorts. Constant chattering, laughing, fuming and fretting
over the fitting of the dress, make the mere wash room the centre stage of all
the events. Curtains are drawn once the decked up ladies leave the wash room.
