Old habits die hard.
9016 AD. A Cadillac passed through a dusty street of a mofussil in British India. Toddlers, Kids, boys and even over enthusiastic grownups chased the car as it honked. Others got hypnotised and stood with their jaw dropped. It was an overwhelming sight for the town and its people. The incident was exciting enough to gossip even after a decade later.
Obviously, it was an era when even a radio was a luxury and the sporadic supply of newspaper was the only mode of communication to stay connected with the world. And for villagers, the car was no less than an alien shuttle on earth.

2016 AD. A hundred year later, in the silicon valley of independent India, a Lamborgini crawls through a packed road of the city and halts at the signal. Suddenly, bikers, passers-by, and pedestrians surround the car. Bikers start taking Selfies with the car, some shake their booty in front of the car and pedestrians carcas the body of the supermodel to get some sensual satisfaction. Distant onlookers climb on a traffic signal pole, trees, or a boundary wall to get a glimpse of the car.
In an era of social media, where nothing is left to imagine; at times we follow our ancestors. It is an old habit that stayed with us for generations. It’s hard to break these habits, no matter in which era we live in.
